  • Virginia Beach Buyers See Seller Concessions

In Mid-Q3, ~58% of Virginia Beach buyers received seller concessions during a home purchase, showing flexibility had become a major part of local dealmaking.
Virginia Beach ranked among the top 10 metros where concessions were most common in Mid-Q3, placing the city firmly in a buyer-friendlier negotiating group.
Every metro in that top-10 group posted concession shares above 50%, and Virginia Beach cleared that mark, signaling buyers often had room to negotiate.
Virginia Beach was also one of eight Sun Belt metros in the top 10, showing this concession trend was especially visible in that regional cluster.
The same market shift also aligned with better activity during 2026's spring and summer seasons, suggesting Virginia Beach buyers found more workable terms recently.
