Nicole Royster is an American actress, singer,writer,director,voiceover and solo performance artist.Having played a diverse range of roles from the ambitiously regal Lady Macbeth,to fiery lover Sarita in Oliver Mayer´s Blade To The Heat,to LGBTQ+ Rights Activist Anne Kronenberg in Dear Harvey,Nicole possesses the power and vulnerability to embody the life of a subject ,creating a masterpiece of moving breathing art that inspires.Being a queer, woman of African American,Japanese and Irish heritage ,she is lead and inspired to create worlds that celebrate ,represent and investigate the blending of these experiences and advocating for the stories and voices of the underrepresented to be fully seen and heard.

Born and raised in Sacramento,California Nicole got her official start in acting in City Theatre´s 2008 production of Working:A Musical as Maggie The Cleaning Woman ,where Kel Munger of The SN&R called her "A cleaning woman with a soaring voice".In 2013 Nicole was nominated for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Award for her performance as Motormouth Maybelle in American River College Theatre´s production of Hairspray.She made her professional Los Angeles theatre debut in July 2022 in the musical Josephine Tonight as Carrie McDonald and Big Bertha Smith at New Musicals Inc,followed by her performance as Mrs.Breedlove in "The Bluest Eye"at The Wallis. She graduated the University of Southern California´s School of Dramatic Arts MFA in Acting program May 2022 and also holds a B.A in Theatre Arts- Acting Performance from the California State University at Long Beach (2019).She is a proud member of Actors Equity Association (AEA) and The Road Theatre Company.
